In this collection we pay a well-deserved tribute to the environment, an example of which is this municipality, as Alhama de Murcia was the site of the largest reforestation of the 19th century (at the end of the 19th century) by Ricardo Codorniú. Butterflies are also included due to the importance of sericulture from 1892 to 2017 in Alhama de Murcia.
