The BLASCO JEWELER COMPANY was born with the name of Diego González Blasco, in honour of its founder and current owner, as a small company dedicated exclusively to the artisan manufacture of jewellery, being founded in January 1974.
Its founder started in a jeweller's workshop at the age of 14 and simultaneously joined the Escuela Sindical de Joyería de Madrid, located in Arrieta Street. During this period he became runner-up in Madrid in the specialisation of Fire Puller and the category of qualified jeweller (in June 1963), and all the jewellers who managed to complete these studies became highly sought after. He contributed to the beginnings of the firm "Carrera y Carrera". In 1973 he moved to Murcia where he started his activity as a custom jewellery workshop. Thanks to his good preparation, his sense of renewal of his jewellery schemes and his eagerness for a job well done, he soon managed to gain a prestigious reputation in the professional jewellery sector in Murcia.
Blasco Jeweller is a different kind of jewellery shop in Murcia, as it is a shop, a workshop for high jewellery orders and at the same time a workshop for very diverse orders, trophies, business awards and special gifts, handmade and exclusively made. Its other speciality is the production of diamond jewellery and the sale of diamonds from 0.50 carats to 5.00 carats in various qualities. It has a professional appraisal department, aimed at a special, different and demanding public. In addition to a large watch department where you can find prestigious brands.
In 1981, the company Blasco Joyero opened its first shop as the ultimate expression of professionalism, incorporating the appraisal of jewellery and the production of custom jewellery without limit. The company is currently located in the heart of the capital, and has a 100 m2 retail space and a mezzanine of another 100 m2 for the jewellery workshop, administration and management.
In the year 2000 he joined the company Francisco Javier González Aragón, known to his clients and friends for Paco Blasco. Son of the founder and born in Murcia in 1978, Diploma in Business Studies from the University of Murcia. University of Murcia in 2001, and a Diploma in Gemmology by the Spanish Gemmological Institute of Madrid in 2003, bringing a vision of the future, new sales, image and marketing schemes, applying a process of renovation of both the business and customer service, which combined with the tradition, experience in jewellery and the good taste of the company, makes Blasco Joyero make a difference in the jewellery sector in Murcia.
Between 2012 and 2014, the company Blasco Jeweller renews its website incorporating online sales, and also adapts to the new and different social networks. In 2015, the company decided to create a great project based on the creation of collections inspired by corners or areas of the Region of Murcia, creating a new website for this purpose: www.joyasdelaregiondemurcia.es .
