I write this article with one of Beyoncé's most popular tunes lodged in the back of my mind: "If you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it".

There comes a crucial moment in our relationship, a turning point, which pushes us to move up a notch: the marriage. However, although they have no doubts about making a promise of eternal love, indecision arises when it comes to choosing wedding rings. There are so many!

There are multiple types of partnerships, the most common of which are yellow gold classics the most common and preferred by newlywed couples. In addition to being aesthetically very beautiful, it suffers less wear and tear over time thanks to its wide shape. They can be easily engraved and fit any finger without any problem. If we had to think of a word for this type of wedding ring, without a doubt, the first word that comes to mind would be: comfort. With this one, you can't go wrong.
• High mid-calf: The most classic and traditional model, its shape is a semicircle.
• Almonds: A symmetrical wedding ring, i.e. the same inside and outside. They feature the inside and the outside rounded - although the outside is not as exaggerated as the half-round - so they are also very comfortable. Practically... It's as if you were wearing nothing!  
• Planas: modern and avant-garde. With flat sides, these are wedding rings that are more focused on the visual aesthetics. They can be engraved on both sides and they have a small 'con' to consider: they are more susceptible to scratching or fading over the years. Even so, they are one of your favourite options to go a bit outside the classic pre-established lines, without defying protocol too much.
• D' shape: That is, its exterior has a very modern 'straight' cut, while its interior has a very pronounced curve.

• Semi-rectangular shape: A powerful and voluminous wedding ring, ideal for couples looking to innovate and combine several styles in one. It is characterised by very smooth edges at the top and straighter edges at the bottom.
